Autism or autism spectrum disorder describes a range of conditions wherein a child faces challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication. This means a child with autism has difficulty in communicating and interacting with people. In this condition, a child lives in a stressful and uncomfortable situation that is not good for his overall growth. Autism affects the daily life of the child and creates problems for his education and school work. Autism is a chronic disorder, and there is no cure. But treatment for autism is important to help in reducing symptoms and control a child’s abnormal behavior.
